Liza joined Serpe Andrews as an associate in March 2024. She covers all aspects of the litigation process, from discovery and motion practice to trial proceedings, in her practice.

Liza graduated from Texas Christian University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Psychology. While at TCU, Liza was a member of the Political Science Distinction Program, the Pre-Law Club, the Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity, and the Order of Omega Honors Fraternity.

She went on to attend the University of Houston Law Center, earning her J.D. in 2018, where she was involved in the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal and the Moot Court Competition Team. In 2016, Liza clerked for the Honorable Judge Frances Stacy United States District Court Southern District of Texas. In 2017, Liza served as the Chief Articles Editor of her Journal and was recognized as Board Member of the Year.

Prior to joining the firm, Liza specialized in personal injury law, representing victims of childhood sexual abuse, defective medical devices and drugs, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death. During that time, she gained valuable experience in handling a wide array of cases, including single-event cases, complex mass tort or class action litigation, and representation of tort claimants in a variety of bankruptcy proceedings. Liza's extensive experience in personal injury law affords her a unique perspective on the plaintiff's position, equipping her with valuable insights that undoubtedly benefit her in her role on the defense side.

Outside of the office, Liza enjoys Pilates, reading, and spending time with her dogs, friends, and family.
