Congratulations to Our New Associates!

We are thrilled to announce that Shan Ahmad, Armon Mehrinfar, and Jason Rosenthal have successfully passed the Texas Bar Exam and are now associates at our firm!

Shan Ahmad joined Serpe Andrews as an associate in September 2024 after impressing us during his summer clerkship with the firm. His primary focus is on civil litigation, where he aims to leverage his skills and dedication. Shan earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was an active member of the Moot Court Team and contributed to the Journal of Health Law & Policy. Before pursuing his law degree, he completed his B.B.A. in Management Information Systems at the University of Houston in 2020. With his strong academic background and hands-on experience, Shan is well-prepared to make a positive impact at our firm and in the legal community.

Armon Mehrinfar earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2024, graduating cum laude. During law school, he was an active member of the South Texas Law Review and showcased his exceptional advocacy skills by winning the 31st Annual National Health Law Moot Court Competition at Southern Illinois University in 2022. Armon gained valuable legal experience as a law clerk in the 14th Court of Appeals under Justice Margaret “Meg” Poissant and previously interned under Judge Donna Roth in the 295th Civil District Court. He is also a Dean’s List Scholar and recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship, and he served as a Presidential Fellow. Prior to law school, Armon completed his B.S. in Biology at the University of Houston. With his impressive accomplishments and commitment to excellence, Armon is set to make a significant impact at our firm and in the legal field.

Jason Rosenthal earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2024, where he was an active member of the Board of Advocates and distinguished himself as a semifinalist in the South Texas Mock Trial Challenge and a quarterfinalist in the Notre Dame Religious Freedom Moot Court Competition. As President of the Jewish Law Students Association and Recruitment Chair for the Texas Exes Legal Society, he showcased strong leadership and a commitment to community within the legal field. Honored with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research and Writing II, Jason also holds a Texas Advocacy Civil Litigation Certificate. Before law school, he completed his B.S. in Public Relations at the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Business Minor Certificate. With his diverse background and dedication to justice, Jason is poised to make a meaningful contribution to our firm and the legal community.
